Tarah Leon is currently in her first year at Broward College after graduating from Miramar High School. She is the oldest of her siblings and demonstrates great leadership skills and ambition to her younger brother and sister. Her hobbies include playing sports, singing, listening to music, dancing and hanging out with friends. She considers her strengths to be respecting others and helping others with their school work.
While attending Miramar High School Tarah received many awards for her academic efforts, including JROTC Honor Guard Award, President’s Education Award, and Principals Honor Roll. After receiving her Associates Degree, Tarah plans to transfer to Florida Atlantic University to pursue her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology on a premed track. Her goal is to become a gynecologist one day. Tarah finds joy in volunteering at her church and helping others. Tarah is a former student of the Jason Taylor Reading Room. She feels that the Jason Taylor Foundation helped her to become a better person and to be able to make something of herself.
