Last April, <strong>37 high schools<\/strong> representing <strong>Broward, Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, St. Lucie, Brevard, Columbia, Duval and Hillsborough counties<\/strong> competed in LTABFLA, with Fort Pierce Central High School\u2019s poetry team, \u201cPoison Pens\u201d claiming the top spot. Funding from <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nova.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Nova Southeastern University<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/sustainability.ups.com\/committed-to-more\/#connected-community\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>UPS<\/strong><\/a><\/span> and a host of other community partners has assisted the Jason Taylor Foundation support the schools\u2019 efforts by providing year-round, in-class and after-school instruction, which will culminate in this <strong>34-day festival<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Teachers interested in registering their school\u2019s poetry club or team may do so by visiting <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jasontaylorfoundation.org\/\">www.JasonTaylorFoundation.org<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and selecting \u201cPrograms\u201d and then \u201cLouder Than A Bomb Florida\u201d and selecting \u201cRegister a HS Team.\u201d LTABFLA teams are comprised of 4 to 10 students, each of who must be actively enrolled in and attend the school of the team they represent. Students will write and perform original poems individually and as a member of a four-part collaborative team.\u00a0 A $200 registration fee per team is required and registration will remain open until February 1, 2019.
