In July of 2015, Sandra Bland<\/a><\/strong> was pulled over by a Texas State Trooper for a minor traffic violation. She was dragged from her car, forced to the ground, and arrested. Three days later, Ms. Bland was found unresponsive in her jail cell, with a plastic garbage can around her neck. Many believe police were involved in her death, though it has been officially ruled a suicide.
