Keitrina Mair is an intelligent and outgoing young lady. She is currently in her second year of college at Florida Atlantic University where she is pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Biology on a premed track. Although she is not certain what area she would like to specialize in, she is confident in the passion she has for the medical field. Keitrina is involved in the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) at FAU where she volunteers and will soon begin traveling to help provide medical treatment in foreign countries. She is currently employed at Macy’s but will soon be receiving her Certified Nursing Assistance license so that she can begin working in a hospital part time while completing her degree.
Keitrina’s interests include volunteering, traveling and singing. She sings in her church choir and has been doing so for many years. Her involvement in the AMSA allows her to combine her love for traveling and helping others. Keitrina has always had a strong desire to give back to her community even since beginning in the Jason Taylor Program when she was only in middle school. She is grateful for the chance to have participated in the Jason Taylor and Take Stock in Children programs. Keitrina stated that the organizations not only helped her financially to get to college, but also provided the emotional support and guidance that prepared her on her way there.
