Luz Perez-Rodriguez lives in West Palm Beach with her mother, father and four siblings. Luz’s dad is sick and unable to work, but the family is getting by with her mother’s hard work and determination. Luz has graduated from Forrest Hill Community High School.
She is now attending the University of Florida where she is studying engineering. She is enjoying her college experience and learning a wide range of applications such as structural analysis, design and construction of buildings, bridges, ships, aircraft and other flight structures. Luz is very self motivated and high hopes of fulfilling her parents hope of a better life for herself.
