#SpotlightTuesday: #GivingTuesday - Tuesday, December 1 - Jason Taylor Foundation

Every Tuesday, the Jason Taylor Foundation dedicates the day to spotlighting one of our partners, volunteers, or celebrity friends that have supported our tireless efforts toward building a brighter future for the youth of the South Florida community.

This week, in celebration of Thanksgiving and the official start of the winter holiday season, we would like to spotlight #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back, set for next Tuesday, December 1st.

#GivingTuesday is annually set on the Tuesday immediately following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and was launched in 2012 by the 92nd Street Y and the United Nations Foundation to spark a national day of giving leading up to the holidays. It is designed to capture the potential of social media and the generosity of people around the world to help bring a change to our communities, both locally and worldwide. It is a day for all non-profit organizations to team up together in hopes of capturing a common goal of creating a better tomorrow for the people and families that our organizations seek to help through the pursuit of our missions.

#GivingTuesday is designed to help encourage giving and to identify newfound donors and volunteers for non-profit organizations. The Jason Taylor Foundation would like to ask you to help us create a brighter and better future for the deserving children of South Florida.

With that in mind, when you receive our sincere request next Tuesday, we hope that you all remain in the giving spirit and help spread awareness through the movement known as #GivingTuesday.
