Our annual bluapple Poetry & Leadership Conference is for passionate wordsmiths, soulful singers, songwriters, and storytellers in alliance with professional poets coming from South Florida.

Come join us and students from across the state on November 1st for a full day of workshops and sharing. Programming begins at 8:30 a.m., with workshops until noon, followed by an open mic until 3:30 p.m.! You do not want to miss this opportunity.

Who: Students in grades 6th through 12th

7:45 – 8:45am Check-In / Continental Breakfast / Ice Breaker

8:45 – 9:00am Welcome & Opening Ceremony

9:00 – 9:15am     Dismissal to Breakout Sessions

9:15 – 10:15am Workshop Session 1 (Students will attend the workshop they chose during registration, based on availability. Educators will attend breakout session in the Media Center.)

10:15 – 10:25am Break between sessions

10:25 – 11:25am Workshop Session 2 (Students will attend the workshop they chose during registration, based on availability. Educators will attend breakout session in the Media Center.)

11:25 – 11:35am Break between sessions

11:35 – 12:35pm Workshop Session 3 (Students will attend the workshop they chose during registration, based on availability. Educators will attend a selected workshop session)

12:35pm Dismissal to Lunch

12:40 – 1:25pm Lunch provided by TBD

1:30 – 3:25pm Open Mic
